How are off-site constructed homes appraised?
There should be no difference in the appraisal value of a modular home as compared to a site built home. The home is built to the same code and could have the same design features. In fact, Marshall & Swifts "Residential Cost Handbook," the "bible" for appraisers nationwide, clearly states that modular homes should be appraised according to the same costs as site-built residences. |
