Gunnison Development Co. LLC, (GDC) was founded in October of 2006 to facilitate the development of 5 acres of land in the Guerrieri Addition located in the Town of West Gunnison. 

The idea for the development was conceived by Chris Macarak.  Chris has lived in this valley for thirteen (13) years, and plans to stay.  He is active in the community as a volunteer firefighter, and has owned several business’s during his time here. 

Owing to the paucity of starter homes in the valley Chris convinced his friend, Josh Nordan, to join him, and together they organized GDC with the goal of providing this type of housing to the residents that also call the Gunnison territory their home.  Chris and Josh also recognize, in this time of increased energy costs and diminishing natural resources, we have a responsibility to produce homes that are not only affordable, but that also are energy efficient.  By incorporating solar technology that utilizes natural resources to heat your water and your home, we are creating a more positive outlook for the future.
